I will go with a positive outcome (I hate most dystopian fiction that is all the rage right now, it's depressing).
People unite under a common solidarity and toss the corrupt CEOs, politicians, and their various minions under the bus for once. We create a new society based on fairness, care for the Earth and all life upon her, and balance. Renewable energy and various other technologies like 3D printing and autonomous cars revolutionize everything. We abolish prisons except for only the most heinous crimes ...like the warmongering Earth destroyers who are rolling in dough now. Those people have to live in the same horrid prison system they made others live in, for things like smoking a plant or stealing diapers for their kid. Or BEING a kid and getting into trouble like kids do. And the former prisoners get to be the guards if they want to. It's only fair. ;). Everyone is taken care of. We transition away from fiat toward crypto, which affords everyone an income regardless of job automation. Since people can freely associate and aren't enslaved to the hamster wheel of trying to survive in a system stacked against them, new communities are formed, new ideas invented and tested, medicine becomes again about wellness instead of money, and the environment is cleaned. A lot of illness is erradicated because so much is caused by our unnatural, polluted, stress-inducing society in the first place. People have time to take care of themselves and their families. Poverty is eliminated. Creativity thrives. War is abolished: without a profit motive, no one beats the drums (and religious reasons are usually BS excuses made up to rally the masses after people saw a profit in it that had to do with territory and resources and money). Community becomes important again, child rapists get castrated, people take care of each other, everyone has a home, and there is peace throughout the land. ;)

With great robots maybe some with truly AI so they could come to reason and make complex decisions and they will help us create quantum computers, that internet is free for everyone and virtual reality is as real as it never was that if it would be great, oil is finished, but someone invented super batteries of dark matter and avoid a 100-year war, travel faster than light so we will have colonies outside of our solar system, since we will not have space or population problems with some many planet to get, a medicine so advanced that it extends the life of humans even more, get to the point that we can pass our consciousness to an artificial brain.
I would love to know that we are not alone in the universe, and get to see a being from another planet, that unites us as a species that knowing that we are not alone and makes us more humble.
PD: I like this challenge love science fiction.

haha @khackett You're so cool, back to the topic I am a big fan of asimov and the way he sees the robots inspires me a lot, as a being equal to the man who only wants to help by following the 3 laws, reading highly recommended by the way. Best luck
I have always imagined the future with a lot of technological advancements. Flying cars, no more use of fossil fuels; even a greener earth. Sometimes, I imagine human colonies in Mars and even beyond our solar system. A more united human race, void of racism and sectionalism of any kind.

I see the future with a lot of robots doing all our hard work for us. I see them doing all the cooking and cleaning, and i also see them doing our house chores.

The future will be ran and ruled by robots of course. Humans will become slaves to them and do all their bidding. Whatever that would be lol. Eventually man would overthrow machine and take back the planet by discovering robots have a weakness that disables their systems. Its spam jelly. Just one drop and their mainframes are toast. Man will hunt down every last living spam just to make this spam jelly.
Hopefully, the future would be without wars, without so much hatred and racism. A future filled with better environmentally friendly laws and technologies. Maybe even with cancers completely eradicated and prevented.

In resume, I think the future will be great as, we always picture the future as something far of in the distance, something unreachable for us to grasps on, but we still can't stop thinking about it and model it as we see fit.
The thing is at the end of the day, the future is whatever wanted it to be, the answers always lies within the choices we make at the start of every day.
