My random thoughts: Part 1

in #random6 years ago

Everybody has random thoughts, whether it's in the shower or just laying on the floor questioning your existence. There are always those strange realizations that make you go "huh, that's weird".

Here are some of mine!

Thought number one: Why isn't water free?

I mean people should have some kind of right to water. If I just ran a marathon and dying of thirst IM NOT GONNA PAY 1.50$ FOR A BOTTLE OF WATER THAT'S GONNA LAST LIKE WHAT, 0.002 SECONDS! * Clears throat* I'd rather just die of thirst. And yes I know that 1.50$ isn't much but it's still money you're wasting on something you can get literally ANYWHERE. Do you know how sad it would be if you were saving up to buy a nice little chocolate for your friend whos been down and you end up spending that money on water? Like "Here's a bottle of water, it costs the same amount as your favorite chocolate bar which by that logic means that they have the same value too... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEAR FRIEND!!". No, no, no, no, that's not how you should be treating this. Am I the only one that's bothered by this? I think that if you walk into a restaurant or fast food place a cup of water should be absolutely FREE. And there are some places like that. Kudos to them, they know common courtesy.

Thought number 2: Maybe we aren't real

My friend did some research the other day and told me that babies dream pre-birth. Which I found like actually fascinating. And I thought that maybe everything we're living right now at this moment is a dream, and we haven't even been born yet. And since we haven't even reached the real world yet, everything we know is not the real thing. For example, plants may actually be called dogs or emotion would be shown through skin color. We wouldn't know. And when we're born, we don't have memories just the language. And when babies are born that's what the babble is, their dream language. And you know how when you die in a dream and your subconscious doesn't actually know what happens after life, you wake up. It's essentially the same. The baby is only developed enough to simulate life, not death which is the birth. There's a bomb-ass theory.

That's enough for me explaining them, now here are some random realizations that peak my interests:

  1. Do you think our dogs name us back?
  2. Why is it considered lazy if someone wakes up late and not if they go to bed early?
  3. I'm pretty sure murder is possible while sleepwalking
  4. Colors are just a figment of imagination
  5. it's impossible to imagine a new color
  6. Animals with fur are cuter for no apparent reason
  7. Can animals be self-conscious?
  8. Fishing would be awful if fish could scream
  9. Why are maggots so disgusting compared to other bugs?
  10. Heels have just become a fashionable thing but they're for short people

That's all for today thank you for reading and have a good day!images.png

I love this post, it may be one of my favorites! So creative, and it definitely makes one think that life after death may very much exist especially if that's when you start to live and end this long incubation we call 'life on earth'. I think this makes a really interesting premise for a short story Faith, would you consider writing it in your next post?
