Hunger in the World

In his last post, @hamzeto is writing about the epidemic of Hunger around the world, hat it means, its common places, the reasons behind it, its effect on communities and what is being done to combat it currently.

Every time I remember such issue, my heart twists painfully and I wonder why some humans are so greedy and think of themselves only?.
And I feel as if I am one of those wretched humans when I am complaining about steemit and how hard to grow and make money here. It is such a trivial issue compared to not having food to eat or clean water to drink, yet it's our human nature that wants more.

This make me understand that being on Steemit is more than just making or collecting money. It about connecting with people and places, about interacting and learning and about giving and be given back.

Steemit is about empowering ourselves and others. But it can be used to destroy these beautiful values if we choose to use it that way.
