Sound frightful you poor thing. I'm thinking that if antibiotics made you sick you could be fighting a virus which would get worse with antibiotics due to bacteria getting killed off and leaving the virus to thrive without any completion. If it was bacterial they would have helped by now. It's not shingles is it? Hope u find out soon good luck

First week I was so sick I resorted to 8 small helpings per day of yogurt, fresh fruit, home made vegetable soup, yes antibiotics always get me down.
Specialist mentioned herpes viral infection, not able to diagnose anything in particular which I feel is not good enough with 4 vials of blood and a biopsy.
Hopefully my home Doctor will be able to explain better what she reads from all the tests, always something to remember make sure to instruct laboratories send your results to your home doctor as well.
Thanks for thoughts, hopefully I will get to the bottom of what I have, it may remain one of those mysteries of life @enjoycompany

Oh dear. Hope you are feeling better. I've been struggling with a bad headcold myself for ten days now. Not sick enough to be in bed but feeling poorly enough not to feel my robust self. Dipping into old photos is not bad. I'm planning a series of them myself seeing as I've got 1000's to share. Love the giraffe staring at me up top. 😂 Feel better.! ❤️

Dermatologist is clueless, now suggesting some herpes viral infection, Oh well finish the course of antibiotics and will contact my home doctor who more than likely will have a better idea.

Oh my! Funny thing here Lady Joan, we are both on the stuff that we dislike, anti biotics.
I collected a serious left ear "infection" described as an unknown virus and now after taking the stuff, small itchy bumps have flared up on the left hand side of my neck and jaw.
No need to see dermatologists, as I have seen several in the past and not one could come up with a definite diagnoses of my skin condition. The only thing that works are Celestamine pills, which I have now been taking since 2012.
Now this sudden infection to add to my problems.
It seems that we are in the same boat!

There sure are some weird and wonderful gremlins around of late, perhaps over population is spreading things a lot quicker, it is the unknown/unseen that are scary.

Thankfully my ear is slowly improving Lady Joan, even though nobody can say what the cause is. I think that there are new viruses about that's not been identified yet.
Have they diagnosed your cause yet?
I find the handling of money a bit suspicious, as if it was the case, many others should be walking around with the same symptoms.

My neck below the ear is covered by a rash of little itchy bumps!

Only way I can talk is through nature, it makes it easier and takes me away from the situation to remember to wonders in nature around us @joelai

Joan, I have been wondering how you are, and usually at times when I'm not able to ask the question. So sorry about all of this, and hope you are on the mend. I, too, am "allergic" to doctors and avoid them, antibiotics and all things medical at all costs. Almost.
