Stormy Silhouette ~ Photo Friday

A late night thunderstorm with lightning, gives off a reflection on Oak Creek along with a silhouette of Cathedral Rock. During the summer months the North American Monsoon Season brings much needed rain to this high desert environment.
This image was shot on film in Sedona Arizona USA. And is being entered in @czechglobalhosts 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - North American Friday week #99.

Hi @irvinesimage ,It is better to get away from these rays, here in Colombia, some people have lost their lives because lightning has struck them, I wonder, what are the lightning rods they are currently for? This world is very complicated.

Hi Martha, yes lightning is very dangerous and should be respected. forty three people die each year in the U.S. from being struck. However it's a beautiful thing to watch and photograph. Thanks.
