How about the fact that this new technology is awakening a great sense of community?

Hmmm I'm actually much more pessimistic than u :D I don't really feel like the GREAT sense is there. There for sure is sense. But let's be real. Any average facebook group with interest for the same thing has community comparable with steemit. At least that's what I feel. What Steemit really is doing great is IMO awakening the creativity and in generat creator's mind in people. Cuz suddenly you have to create something. You suddenly start making videos altho u never done so before..etc etc.That's the great thing about steemit. It makes people do stuff. I don't really believe in the community thing tho. People come and go as soon as their find someone new who gives them bigger upvotes.

Edit: I guess it's different for people who r part of some project, like e.g u and TF. Then u have the community circle among urself. But I don't believe that much that big communities are creating on the Steemit forefront based on tags etc.
