Melon - from Disco, House to Techno - One of Dutch Finest All-round Artists! (music and more inside)

in #qsounds7 years ago (edited)

While some of my friends are still asleep since they went to Welcome to the Future festival (here) yesterday to play their tunes and/or to party to tunes played by many artists, this morning I'm writing this post for you to share some super nice and chill music the Dutch artist and producer Melon is bringing into the world for a considerable time already.

Melon is one of Holland's rare all-round artists who can keep the dance floor entertained for a whole day and/or night; from Disco, to House to Techno and anything in between. When he is given the chance for a solo day or evening, he generally starts with Disco, and through House and Tech House he ends his sets with melodic Techno. Those events I do like the most, I must admit; Always a pleasure to flow along from beginning to end with the magic this guy creates. Yesterday he performed on Welcome to the Future festival as well, and that was for me the trigger to introduce this guy to you. He shall not be kept a secret IMHO! :)

Since no recording is made yesterday, I share with you two older recordings of his performances giving you an overview of what he is able to do. One is perfect for the Sunday morning or afternoon with Disco and House vibes. The other is a bit 'harder' and can be classified as techno; But still the kind of techno that can be very enjoyable while hanging out with your friends in your garden, at your rooftop terrace, or anywhere in a lounge area.

  • Artist: Melon aka Jeroen Hofer
  • Set: Various
  • Style: Disco, House, Techno
  • Year: 2016/2017

You know the drill; Select and Hit the Play Button! My advise, do listen to both, and when you like it, go to his Soundcloud or Youtube pages (links below) and listen to more of his stuff.

Enjoy your Sunday!

Thank you!

Thank you. You will see results soon!

Super, looking fwd to it!

So far so good. Let's keep it rolling!

I'm keeping an eye on it :)

That is more like it! Not too bad so far. You have a lot of upvotes and new people to try and follow if you like their content or personality. Plus you got a lot of new exposure. It is best to let me work my magic early in the post like day one or day 2. It ends up getting more organic traffic this way. Best Wishes In The Future. Please Up Vote If You Are Happy So Far With My Services!

As you noticed, I upvote all your comments already :) Common practise for me for those who add value, and even those who just say 'thank you' I generally upvote, but I do not normally upvote those comment that ask for upvotes are are notorious commenters with same comments and never upvote the post itself; With some exceptions though, like the parent comment to this one :)

It was an interesting experiment for me to use your service. Somehow I dont like self curating with 3rd party services. I done it myself with MSP and even the paid services as you may see them on several of my posts. In the end all the booster services gave a little bit more than the cost; I think my post got about 3$ gain of which 75% goes to the author of the post (sometimes a little more, depends how much SP voted in the first 30 minutes). But anyway, some little gain. Most of the booster services I know actually and investigated them. Some of them get followon votes, but I suppose this happens more on recent posts, while this post is almost at payout time.

I'm wondering why you use so many different booster services. Would the combination give more followon voters and with that increase the vote value to the post? Also, I'm wondering why you did not use Randowhale since that seems to be a service that always gives more value than it costs, while most of the booster services you used give more or less same value as the cost, ie for the author of the post a net loss.

MSP is a free service, and you used that on my post, this one generally gives around 10ct with the current Steem price and another 50-60ct from one whale and then some 10-20ct by the follow train, but that train seems not to vote for somewhat older posts, as many of the other (little) vote trains on the other services.

The challenge with many of the booster services is to find out its profitability, since this is very dynamic. If you are trying to get this service into a bot, I can make some suggestions what intelligence to build into to try and maximise the gain your service offers. In reality this means 1) what booster services to use 2) timing of request of the various booster services. These booster service are changing almost on a daily bases in terms of SP they have, in terms of the cost, or even methods the apply, their followon voters and probably even more variables.

Did you know that there are also pre-booster vote services? Those vote bots that detects the request for a booster service that will vote sometime later. Those bots will place a vote before the booster service actually votes, increasing the curation rewards for those who vote before the boosters do.

Quick side note also : The resteems can drive even more upvotes and are cheap as dirt right now. It might be a value that I can harness to even boom it further. I see this working for dolphins and whales and perhaps charging them to access our service. They can pay a membership fee to make the kind of money I'm thinking that could be available down the road.

Yes there is a reason I split the votes so much between upvote bots and this is critical to the way my Proxy bot will have to work to maximize profit.

Lets have a private chat, since what you are doing could maybe be (much) more simplified and be as profitable or more.

You might just be the guy I have been looking for. It seems that you have noticed far more about the up vote bot services than most people. Let's chat and we can share notes. I'm serious about building abot and putting one of my algorithms or multiple as need to maximize return.

I have found that since the values of sp changes so regularly there are some exploits for sure. Some are simple to look at the www.Steemd.com/@ and determine who has voted and how much and when the next votes should be cast. I gambled between randowhale and booster. With $2 sbd it is a challenge to eek out as much as I did. Most can't do it consistently but I have been doing pretty good considering. I spent $1.91 of the two SBD for like 2 hours of work but it was a great test for me also. I am going to do more for people tomorrow. This should give me the data I need to be confident.

Had it not worked out for you as it had been doing I would have just bought you some more traffic or refunded. I'm easy to get along with. The earlier I get the bid I can also wrangle some external social media traffic and search engine indexing for more views. Many people see the added value in building a solid follower list and we all know people who up vote once might up vote again and it is a lot cheaper to inspire existing customer than to acquire new ones. But sometimes you have to acquire.

You are correct to hedge my upvotes I prefer less risk with using newer posts because you will get more natural organic traffic. On the earlier posts the upvote followers can often break a post even fast and less would be needed spent to make people happy and there is the profit potential. Plus probably not a secret to you but I have a secret that I can't share live as it is not widely discovered.

Ultimately I get to help people grow and grow myself or a friend willing to help me do it. I literally just finished this and have been reading for weeks. I'm almost ready on my own to get it done. https://steemit.com/blog/@binkley/what-would-you-like-me-to-call-the-upvote-bot
