Dice Challenge #3

Can you solve it?

Sort:

Green 6, Green 4 or Green 4, Green 6
Multiple every dice in group of 3 dices.
5×4×2×6×4×2×3×4×1=23040
When you multiple every dice in groups of 4 dices, the result must be equal to 23040.
2×6×5×4×2×2×?×?=23040
960×?×?=23040
?×?=24
6×4=24

That is actually correct and a different approach then I took :-P

I used the following logic: multiply the dice in every group and make sure that every answer is present on both the left and the right side. We have:

Left: 12 | 48 | 40 and Right: 40 | 2xy | 12

So 2xy = 48
xy = 24
x = 6 and y = 4 OR x=4 and y = 6. And of course, the dice are green :-)

Green 5 and green 1 are missing?

What is the logic behind your answer?

I was looking at the sum of the groups with 3 dice (31) vs the sum of the groups with 4 dice..for the groups to both add up to 31, green 5 and green 1 are missing. It's a tough one.

Interesting approach!
