Part 3 - The Philosophy of Existentialism: V - What is real in the Reality?

"Reality is communication" - charlie777pt

1- Introduction

“How do we know what we believe we know?” - Paul Watzlawick

Existentialism is a philosophical tool that can serve to question and test what is real in reality and in ourselves.
Reality is constructed in society by communication, and like Paul Watzlawick shows if there is enough repression about what we think, after some time it dies in its subjectivity and we stop thinking on it, like a kind of the unthinkable, accepting facts that are not real.
Man was made to fly in the wings of freedom, but he/she is grounded by the weight of reality, in the fight for the basic needs for house, food, and clothing, and in the future it must become a born human right, so that everybody could enjoy having private property and possessions not needed for survival.

Social relations are undergoing new mutations creating social fragmentation, economic exclusion, the practices of violence of massification and individual stigmatization in a total centralized world.
Our views of reality are obfuscated by the rules and values of the matrix of the machine of hierarchic and centralized power systems, and we must find liberating ways to find what is really real in Reality.

We can never let a fake Reality take over our spirit of freedom, elimination our human will in the choice of the path of our lives and civilization.
Meanwhile, in the blockchain there are new processes of community integration resulting from decentralization and deterritorialization in the anarchic cyberspace, to create a newer real reality.

2 - What is real in the Reality?

"One cannot not communicate" - Paul Watzlawick

Paul Watzlawick in his book "Is Reality Real?" tries to make us realize that Reality is constructed through Communication that at the same time explains and expresses it as an illusion that we use to make the facts coincide with reality or with ourselves which creates a multiplicity of realities in the same numbers of the perspectives of it, showing that there is no unique reality naked and raw.
Paul Watzlawick was a family therapist, psychologist, communication theorist, and philosopher.of radical constructivism refusing that we can find a universal or absolute truth, but we create it in a communication process of misunderstandings.

So we invent reality to fit in, or to question it, with different perspectives, that are the base of human conflict, born in what he calls "confusion", by the involuntary barriers of communication, and the "disinformation" of our illusions acting to hide information or avoid it, and he talks about communication in the perspective of its problems and how to find new ways for humans to share their multiple realities and approach what is real.

Communication is exchanging messages between humans and the lack of comprehension of ourselves and consequently of the others leads to confusion in face of the obstacles, creating a conflict based in intolerance, and that even in language translations or interpreters can create conflicts by the cultural dissonances in the perspectives of reality.
Sometimes what is real seems to be out of Reality, and as he says, we can shuffle the cards and one day they will appear sorted by suit and value, but this seems impossible, has the same possibility of any combination to happen.

"The belief that one's own view of reality is the only reality is the most dangerous of all delusions." - Paul Watzlawick

To believe in our reality is a very dangerous illusion but it is much worse if we become missionaries, risking of turning into a "criminal of the thought" using a form of violence based in saving the world by brainwash.
Politicians are the worst perpetrators.
Watzlawick in his book about the perspectives of reality mentions the psychology joke of the guinea pig saying he has trained the experimenter to feed him when the button is pressed, while the experimenter explains the animal reacting to his stimulation.
He explains very well the game of Secret Services with espionage and counter-espionage, using techniques of providing false information in documents or by a "converted" spy, that can be interpreted as true to mistify Reality with what is not really real on the other side.
Intelligence information manufactures data that drives propaganda and news, sold as lies to cover the politician's actions and mesmerize the masses.

"Existence is a multiplicity of realities, where nothing is real" - charlie777pt.

The act of perceiving as a whole is a mix-up of the perceptions and the self-perceived that connects the subject with the object, inextricably.

"Usually a person relates to another under the tacit assumption that the other shares his views of reality, that indeed there is only one reality." - Paul Watzlawick

"The Reality of the reality" (a book from Paul Watzlawick) is based in confusion and disinformation in the social matrix of communication.

"A self-fulfilling prophecy is an assumption or prediction that, purely as a result of having been made, cause the expected or predicted event to occur and thus confirms its own 'accuracy'."Paul Watzlawick

3 - Social Dialog is the Solution

When the economy is losing gas along with people's hope, politicians replace it by war, sexism, racism, xenophobia, and intolerance to unite the masses with a common goal, as a substitute for dialogue.
Dialogue is the dialectical component of history, to find the path of truth or justice as equality in our existence.
The confrontation generated by intolerance closes the dialogue.

Dialogue is not possible in an environment of uncertainty and insecurity in the social sphere because there is an environment of social shock , whether at the individual or intergroup level, as it can be seen in the case of the Yellow Vests, where dialogue has become a mutual monologue that fills a rift of hatred between them, above all by the aggressiveness and belligerence of the system that seems to be dealing with dangerous terrorists.

The survival and the great deeds of the human species was built in centralized cooperation, but I believe that we shouldn't see the world as the survival of the strongest or the fittest, that is maybe the "class- favored", because decentralization will show that collaboration and open knowledge will show the real face of innovation, creation and collective intelligence of humanity to build a safe planet for the coming generations.

4 - Be Aware of the Media's Reality Con

"Mainstream media is a distraction from Reality and Truth, creating isolation and social immobilism, but it creates the illusion that we are all connected by common opinions and values." - charlie777pt

As I feel that existentialism or any other philosophy of individual liberation is pertinently blooming, as the first signs of how the average citizen is tired of listening to the "mambo jumbo" talk of the media, reflecting the con of the powerful, and people are looking to political alternatives to the actual representative democracy like direct democracy based in referendums.
The actual degenerated capitalism have liquidated the singularity of each individual by the dominance of a few supported by their media conglomerates parametrizing the human mind.

"This is the secret of propaganda: To totally saturate the person, whom it wants to lay hold of, with the ideas of the propaganda, without him even noticing that he is being saturated." - Paul Watzlawick

The credibility of media sources and press, as propaganda of the establishment views, is based in conglomerate financing and political sponsoring, to reinforce consumerism and generating a conflicting reality consensus.
Some alternative media and blockchain social media are the right cradle to support the rise of the world of Self-consciousness
Centralized media must be replaced by citizenship journalism of individuals and local communities, with their direct experience of reality.

This machine of the is used to serve the interests of the big capital, which has no consciousness of human and environmental costs, because its orientation is the unbridled and psychopathic profit of criminal origin, based on the suffering of the people and the destruction of the planet, threatening humanity itself.
The machine is used to serve the interests of big capital, which has no consciousness of human and environmental costs because its orientation is the unbridled and psychopathic profit of criminal origin because it is based on the suffering of the people and the destruction of the planet, threatening humanity itself.

The problem with mainstream media is that most of the people drive their attention to see and hear what confirms their previous morals and beliefs already incrusted, because people run away from news or opinions that challenge their inner views of reality, because they feel more "safe" in their cocooning of conformity as a distraction for not seeing themselves.
The matrix is living in your perceptive mind, so only outside any kind of centralized structure, we can have a free debate and freedom of speech, based intolerance and tempered by Love that are the peaceful evolutionary nodes of Humanity.

My next post is an existentialist view, that reveals the structure of the Beast, the matrix that lives inside of us, implanted by the Machine, that eating our human side, and creating a "decephalization" of people, through the hands of Technique.

"Showing that there is no unique reality naked and raw."

For sure!

Incidentally, I would say the degree of which we deem certain realities as impossible or unrealistic merely is an indicator toward the discrepancy between the reality we are currently experiencing and that other reality. In other words, our thinking mind is constantly measuring the possibility of other realities depending on how close the resemblance to the one we are currently experiencing. The starker a contrast the less likely we consider it. Truth is that our reality shifts the moment our perspective shifts, while any physical creation being a reflection of our consciousness expression. The more we try to make this reality "real" the more we get stuck in it.

Thanks for having written about this very interesting subject in a a very refreshing way!

Brilliant comment. A Light to feed my writings and our perspectives of reality.
Good comments mean presenting and emanating new perspectives of reality that enrich the path to the truth.
We grow up by exchanging deeper perspectives of our feelings and cognitions, to help to find what is real in this faked reality to change it.
We change by our new perspectives when we are seeking for reality.
Our physical creations give mean and expressions to our thoughts, in the interaction of the Somatic with Reality, with the Imaginary leading the light to see the end of the Tunnel that we will never reach, except maybe with Death.
And one more time thanks for the enlightening comment, that should be the feeding of the Essence of Steemit's Existence, creating a tool to find reach the unattainable real reality for the community and individuals.
Dialogue is exchanged perspectives of Reality, the real essence of Freedom. Intolerance and antagonism close the permutation of reality's perspectives, self-intelligibility, and human evolution.
The more we learn about reality, the more we see knots that imprison us in it.
The old thing - the more we learn the more we feel we know nothing - it's like opening a Pandora's Box.
Cheers my friend
