Steemit Promotion - Empowering Over 150 Youths with Steemit in Abuja.
The joy of promoting steemit, is the smile you see on people's faces, they are exactly saying thank you without opening their mouths, and as a self imposed ambassador, there is nothing more satisfying as that, I am only leaving a steemit mark on their minds which they will always remain thankful for.
This is our third day introducing steemit to community development groups, with me is @jacobite who is also a dedicated steemian, ready to promote steemit at all times, he sacrificed his lectures for the seminar. There are about 150 graduates in this group, from different universities who listened while we talk about steemit and cryptocurrencies.
The presentation
I had little time to present my introduction, and the interesting part of it was that few people knew about cryptocurrencies so the conversation was not boring, I had good questions like....
- What is the difference between Steem blockchain and Bitcoin blockchain?
- How are the Steem Dollar generated?
- what other type of platforms are situated on the steemit blockchain?
- Is there any other way to mine Steem apart from steemit.com?
These are the few kind of questions that you answer and feel like you know much about steemit. In our presentation, we also talked about the following:
- What are Cryptocurrencies
- What is steem and why do we blog on steemit
- How we can earn on steemit
- Steemit investment

We know how expensive internet is in Nigeria, we had to give some lucky people that believed immediately on the platform the sum of N1,000 each, to take care of their data plans, this will help them make their first posts on steemit.
We are so glad that about 150 corpers got to know about steemit today, we are going to do more to increase the steemit users around the world, though it's difficult putting work out there, but for the love of steem and the steemit blockchain, Steemit will become the future of social media in the world.
