Have You Noticed What A Better Writer Steemit Has Made You?

in #promo-steem7 years ago (edited)

It is in nature of man not to give his hundred percent in something that does not benefit him in any way. Some wouldn't, even if it benefits them but in a little way. However, when man knows for certain, that what he is about to do is going to benefit him in a very great way, especially when financial benefits are involved, then he will do everything in his power to ensure he gives nothing less than perfection as output. Okay, cool!

Look beyond the Dollar

While Steemit has been rewarding us monetarily with Steem and Steem Dollar, thereby providing source of income to countless jobless yet talented writers and vloggers around the globe, it has also made us a better writer. I know I am still far from being perfect ("very far", you say? Shut up! It's non of your concern), but if you had known how much I suck as a writer when I first started steeming, then you would understand what a progress I have made in the few months I have been on Steemit. It is not just about me, it is about every steemian who has been working on giving the community high quality contents. After all, the reason we are being rewarded by the blockchain is because Steemit thinks of us adding undiluted values to the community through our high quality contents.

We are being rewarded with Steem and Steem Dollar and are making enough dough to make a living by just writing. Many have bought jaw-dropping houses and luxurious rides, and are enjoying an amazingly better life thanks to Steemit. But truth is, money is not the only entity Steemit has been given us and hence it is time we look beyond the Dollar.

By writing regularly, we have become a better writer. We check some of the posts we wrote months ago and all we do is laugh uncontrollably. We do not need to be told how woeful those articles are. Do you know why it is so? It is because we have improved from what we used to be. And sometimes we even feel shy to show people our previous articles. That is because we are becoming a better writer!

The finished products are using the talent in the right way

Many of the bloggers here were already a finished product before joining this platform. Examples are @dwinblood, @mariannewest, @yallapapi, @marianwest, @nairadaddy, @eurogee, @surpassinggoogle and the like who were already great writers and are just making use of their talent to earn rewards here on Steemit. There are countless of them. These are just the ones I do come across their posts regularly and at a glimpse at any of their posts, you would wish you are the one who write them.

Steemit has become the place where writers are showing their talents. And writers are enjoying being here, thereby making use of the opportunity to the fullest. There are lots of writing contests to showcase your ability to make use of pen to bring life to the lifeless and create images that breath. And in return, Steem, Steem Dollars and curation upvotes are given out to the winners of these numerous writing contests.

There is no limit for how good you can be in doing something. Regardless of how good you are at doing a particular thing, the more you do it, the better you become. The rewards that Steemit is giving us has brought the best out of bloggers.

Your contents will speak for you, you need no whale friend to be successful on Steemit

This is a decentralized system where you get great rewards in as much as you give high quality contents without even being friend with the big boys (whales). There are lots of initiatives and individuals out there that are curating high quality posts. The like of @wafrica, @stach @minnowsupport, @steemgiggs @informationwar @kpine @sndbox @steemnaira and many more have been using their Steem Power to contribute to the growth of the community by curating and upvoting high quality posts especially from bloggers that are not yet getting attention yet. That is how beautiful Steemit is.

Let us keep steeming and enjoy every moment we spend here. My pen needs some rest. I will be back in few moments with another fresh posts. Stay in touch.

But I think it is a very few who have been able to finance a big house and such through blogging on Steemit :)

@therealwolf 's created platform smartsteem scammed my post this morning (mothersday) that was supposed to be for an Abused Childrens Charity. Dude literally stole from abused children that don't have mothers ... on mothersday.
