Promoting #Steem around the World
As #Steem drifts down the Cryptocurrency Market by Market Valuation and currently sitting at No. 279 I am once again raising the burning question regarding the Marketing and Promotion of #Steem.
Is there a fundamental problem with the way #Steem is currently being Marketed and Promoted?
Assuming we all agree that the already battle-proven Blockchain is Technically sound this leaves the Commercial side of the Blockchain requiring full attention supported with the focus on Marketing and Promotion being adequately covered.
Having promoted #Steem over the past few years I have continually been raising my concerns as to whether the weighting between the Technicals and the Commercials has been properly addressed.
This concern still remains and now has an impact on the funding of future Sponsorships.
With the price of #Steem at present sat so low I am currently reviewing the funding of meaningful Sponsorships moving forward and I will let you know shortly what I think will be the best way to proceed.
With a modest 125,000 #Steem Power of firepower and limited support to continue funding new Sponsorships I alone do not have the sufficient resources to keep funding the Marketing and Promotion of #Steem out of my own pocket.
Having already spent $1,000's this year alone to help promote #Steem it is extremely difficult to maintain this level of funding if the very asset that you are promoting is in fact loosing value over the same period.
Hopefully, the recent drop in the price of #Steem is a short-lived one and will soon bounce back sufficient enough to reinstate the campaign to offer new Sponsorships I have been giving.
I will let you know shortly the outcome of the Sponsorships moving forward after I have ran some numbers.

I want to also add that, steemit must pay a close attention to the promotion of steem. Sometimes it looks as if the support for steem and steemit promoters are low. A lot more need to be motivated to help in steem promotion to bring other investors on board by sharing an attractive message.
We really cannot thank you enough @stephenkendal. But we also would be happy to receive more support from other sources in our promotions. Be motivated to do more as some of us trust in your plans and support to get the steem blockchain a better future. The ongoing situation of steem is heartbreaking and disappointing. But the presence of people like you SK make us believe in what we do. There is surely a better day as projected and giving up is never an option. #steemwillrise

Greetings @stephenkendal, I know it's hard to carry the sponsorships you gave to promote Steem. It is a strong work you have done, and with the big drop that has suffered the steem, it becomes much more difficult. But be patient, this will pass and when everything returns to normal or takes a greater momentum, things will be much better.
I once made a mistake when Steem went down, just as it is doing now, I practically withdrew and changed everything I had. When I came back I had to practically start all over again. This time I will not do the same, I will continue working and trying to raise my Steem Power.
Let's do like the captains of the ships, the last one to abandon the ship is him and that happens when there is no one else on board. Let's keep fighting for our platform, let's not abandon it.
We need to see things in a positive perspective like this is the best time to power up and when the price is high we can earn more.
Well said, Sir. The highly volatility nature of the cryptocurrency isn't surprising, as countless bearish and bullish movements have been experienced since the inception of Steem. Nonetheless, it is call for all stakeholders of Steem, ranging from the users with huge Steem Powers to the newbies, to all join in the promotion of the platform any means possible. The promo doesn't necessarily have to be curtailed to a specific form since any consistent drop of efforts from us all can form a might ocean of Steem success. Though the current dip is unfavorable, it may however aid interested investors in purchasing more Steem and bring more people on board. So let's keep pushing any means necessary.
I am very sad to see present crypto market. Specially seeing the steem price. I consider steem as a very potential coin. But the price is really disappointing.
Today I have set a order to buy some steem on binance. Love to stay with steem.
