Steem Ambassador Meeting - Promo Steem Part 1

In the video above, we had our first @Steem-Ambassador Meet up on our discord server. The meeting was amazingly productive in our opinion. We plan to make it a regular thing as time goes forward.

The meeting went on for 2 hours, so this is part 1. Part 2 to follow.

How to support #Promo-Steem
If you like the work of #promo-steem and want to support to help grow our steemit community, we have set up a great system leveraging the steem blockchain to support promoters, here are a few things you can do to support the voluntaryist promoters who are out there working hard to promote our wonderful steemit platform, which in turn, raises the the value of all of our STEEM and improves the quality of peoples lives immensely for doing valuable work:
Join the https://steemauto.com/ curation trail for @steem-ambassador - Add a bit of your voting power to reward promoters! See joining instructions HERE
Delegate SP to @steem-ambassador - If you have the means, please consider delegating some Steem Power so we can incentivize promotional work. 85% of the curation rewards that @steem-ambassador earns will be returned to the delegator each quarter based on their share of the overall delegation, so this is an active investment too. @steem-ambassador will receive 0% of the curation rewards. The remaining 10% goes to the ambassadors and 5% to the best promoters! DELEGATE HERE
Follow our work, and get involved - Watch out for upcoming @steem-ambassador posts and give your approval to the Steem Ambassadors coming online.

I'd like to add my thanks to everyone who joined in. We had a huge number of Steem Ambassadors join us, and some others too! The steem-ambassador programme is not only growing, but starting to work in a really slick way now, as a purely decentralised movement. It's really beautiful to watch.

I'm intrigued about the spam fighting tech you mentioned.

Ah! the great @adetorrent listening to my work? i feel honored ;))) Yes, our so called spam hammer will rely on the community to decide what spam is and which authors are spamming and then only display the none spam content to a separate interface from which the curation oracles will curate (this will save much time for curation oracles). Additionally we may set an upper $value limit to blogs which show up on this interface so that we get better at distributing rewards to undervalued content instead of rewarding content that is already successful.

Get investors from outside is key, regarding (Minute 32'34")
When I think about what we need to do on this platform and steem to make it grow efficiently my thoughts always collide with these 3 things :
1-How to attract outside steem investors?
2-How to make scalable what we do here with steem?
3- How to acellerate Steem adoption into the ordinary world?
If you attract outside investors in to invest in our communities, we will have a profit share program for those who find the business.
It was truly grand to see so many Steem Ambassadors in one place. It had almost a Galifreyan feel about it.
Made me wonder what the collective noun is for a whole bunch of ambassadors is.
I'm going for an Ascension of Ambassadors....

Wow. That's a big fat meeting where 30+ @steem-ambassador(s) joined @starkerz and @anarcotech. :-D I am trying to promote steem on a personal level and hopefully I could do something like you guys do locally. That has a global effect on our earnings. ;) These promo efforts will only make Steem more powerful. Cheers! We need to have a @promo-steem fest first before the next @steemfest. What say guys?

We expect to be building and launching our gamified STEEM tutorial for new users fairly soon. We were also thinking of letting the tutorial finish with the opportunity to apply for a steem mentor to view and give recommendations on their first posts.
I know some of you have also worked to build steem mentors and so I would be curious to know if we could discuss some opportunities here of overlapping wherever it is mutually beneficial.

Great to read this agenda, and when people join an project which have great future ahead, then to make an particular sub project successful with the success of overall Steem needs effective framework and enthusiastic members who will work for the growth. As everyone knows Steem is really revolution in the social network aspect, but we are still lacking in aspect of number of users and the number of active users are even less. So, it's really important to promote an project literally which can change the vision of future. Keep up the great work and great wishes to you and the team. Wishing you an great day. Stay blessed. 🙂
