High quality is everything!
We are doing all we can to make the system work well. But quality is king.... please don't assume that any old shit will be upvoted. There are approximately 2500 people posting to the promo-steem tag, and we get around 1000 posts per week. Many of these won't get an upvote because they aren't high quality. And the Steem Ambassadors only have so many upvotes they can give, so it's fair to say that they will go looking for ones which look to be very high quality right from the start.
So my advice is do great promo, and post well about it.
