Team Uganda Weekly Updates: New Steemit Shirts Printed,Steemians Attended Africa's First Blockchain Conference,New Members and more
What a really great time the Ugandan team had last week! I assure you,it was one of those weeks to remember,you will know below!
I am really proud of all the work been done by the Uganda team in advancing the community. The whole team is doing everything in advancing and helping each other out.
1. Printed New Steemit Shirts
The Ugandan team now has a variety of t.shirts to choose from,we added another design last week which we purposely used for promoting Steemit at the Africa Blockchain Conference that was held in Kampala last week.
These are the photos we took just after we printed the shirts and i will show you below how we dressed in the conference.
2 .Ugandan Steemians Attended the first ever Africa Blockchain Conference at Serena Hotel.
This last week was very significant in the live of all the Ugandan Steemians who attended the conference.
As you might have heard or known,the first ever Africa Blockchain Conference happened in Uganda last week .
The conference was officially opened by our own President H.E Yoweri K Museveni at Serena Hotel.He explained Blockchain technology in an easy way that all the participants were shocked of his knowledge about Blockchain(will share that video in the later days).
We learned a lot and represented Steemit very well.I got to know that we have a big number of Ugandans on Steemit who are inactive.
There were many speakers and delegates who were also surprised to know that Steem/Steemit has a branch in Uganda!
