Read this carefully

*In this section of my talk about 'knowing who to follow on steemit' , I explained a few benefits of socialising on steemit, and I plan to give a well detailed explanation on that soon, so stay tuned. But have this still:

Socialise with anyone on steemit

Socialising on steemit is not limited only to those with high steem power, no! don't do that. The thing is, on steemit, many of these whales and dolphins won't even give you attention because many think/know that you are after their upvote or whatever.

Its not that those who eventually give you their time and attention don't know or think this too, but its just an undisputed fact about life that everyone can't be the same. But notwithstanding, comment on their posts like you are after nothing, then, if you get upvoted, be happy, afterall someone who works deserves to eat. But if u get nothing, iss nothing, keep doing your thing.

Therefore, socialise with anyone irrespective of their steem power. And the place where communication can take place on steemit is only in the comment section of anyone's post. So make good use of it well.

A lot of prospective whales are out there posting reasonable and quality contents but the are still young presently and are having very low sp. That doesn't mean it will be so forever, sooner or later these guys will grow and their steem power will increase because their hardwork will eventually pay-off. That is just how life is.

I am saying this to tell those planktons out there who have stationed their mindset only to comment on the posts of whales and ignore the posts (of their fellow planktons/minnows) they come across.
No! my dear, you shouldn't do that, comment on good posts irrespective of who posted.

Time is everything, and change is constant. Never forget that.

In the video above, I also mentioned accounts owned by some humane individuals on steemit you can follow and will definitely reap from, not only through their upvotes but by also reading their posts too. These guys include
@surpassinggoogle (hes the steemian who's got many minnows and planktons at heart, he is also the guy behind the teardrops and steemgigs initiative)hes a mentor to many. If you are not following him, you are missing out.

@humanearl- my senior and mentor, I have learned alot from him, he's so much of an inspiration to me and many. I get inspired by his videos on #dtube Follow him and understand what I mean.

@abigail-dantes- my steemit mum. A caring and loving psychologist who welcomes everyone, her psychology tips have helped me so much. Shes unique, feel free to also ask her questions on her posts and relate any problem you might be having, im sure she would help you(I am saying it out of experience). Follow her, but you must also be ready read oo. I know what I am saying.😁

@swissclive- He's a mentor to many and encourages little steemians with his upvote, I remember when I read this his post about how he also earned so low when he 1st joined steemit. Check it out. It got me inspired, it should do you same too. But he really hates spam comments and lies, no one doesn't tho.

I can't go on describing all of them, reason of which is best known to me. So I will just list a few of the others.
@steemsecrets @tojukaka @ehiboss @ogoowinner @teardrops @inspiredgideon1 @oredebby @happymichael @flysky @ejemai @stach @broncnutz @shikika @olawalium @chiboyzz @fessikay @thankgodikkc @desmonddesk @damarth etc. There are so many.

Then if you like contests, you can follow @dobartim @runicar @gee1 @mimy @lamex @cryptene @timsaid @lamex @killerwhale @air-clinic @karensuestudios among others.

There are also ghost voters/curators you should follow because you never can tell when God will bless you with these guys upvotes on your post. These are accounts like @candyman @hr1 @thejohalfiles etc

NB: this is just little compared to the number of people I have in mind that you should follow. But I cant put everyone of them down here because they are just so many. So I will advise you to follow people who inspire you and (also post things related to your field--I will elaborate more on this next time). And pls, do not ask for upvotes or follows on Steemit, its against the steemit etiquette. Be guided!

Let me end here so as not to bore you with a very long post. Thankyou so much for your time. I hope to see you next time.

DO NOT FORGET TO UPVOTE RESTEEM AND COMMENT.

Shalom!✌

To me I feel you have spoken well

Thks and God bless you bro.

@happymichael Your post is very educative particularly for the up-coming Steemians. I believe many will benefit from this. Please keep it up.

Thks man for your remarks. Do well to resteem also for visibility. Thanks!

I initially came here just to upvote from airhawk project, but reading your post got me hooked. This is a very self explanatory post.

I must confess im a newbie, and i have a question, please what are the benefit or effects of resteeming posts..

Thank you for your good words about my post.

Resteeming posts is just like sharing information on whatsapp. You read something somewhere and you share it to other people because you think other people might like it too or maybe beneficial to the too. Thats just what it is. Take for instance, after reading my post and you liked it and would like your followers to see it because you know it would benefit the newbies following you, you can resteem it, and after doing so it appears on your blog.
But you earn nothing from doing it.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope to see you next time.

It's a nice reminder and it's easily understandable. Thanx bro n may u keep up reminding the minnows that every whale was once a minnow.

Thanks man for for your nice words. I hope to see you next time.

Thanks for the tip...
