I initially came here just to upvote from airhawk project, but reading your post got me hooked.This is a very self explanatory post.

Resteeming posts is just like sharing information on whatsapp. You read something somewhere and you share it to other people because you think other people might like it too or maybe beneficial to the too. Thats just what it is. Take for instance, after reading my post and you liked it and would like your followers to see it because you know it would benefit the newbies following you, you can resteem it, and after doing so it appears on your blog.
But you earn nothing from doing it.
