Using promo-steem tag

Over couple month i have been promoting to people around me the used promo-steem tag on steemit, what is it all about and in general the insight on how does it go about. So here is a simplify post to those who is new to the world of promo-steem.

1. What is promo- steem tag?

Its a tag when conversation and promotion of steem, steemit, and steem blockchain related is in a post, you are encourage to used this tag.

1. What do you get if you used Promo-Steem Tag?

Steemian that is appointed by their community to be a steem ambassador will play his or her role to support quality post that is consider promo-steem tag criteria.

Quality of a post is subjective, however if 3 Steem ambassador manual given you an upvote , it will place to a list where the @steem-ambassador to upvote, once upvoted, the curation trail will follow suit.

So to me, if you follow promo-steem tag criteria , there is 3 types of consideration , if its a quality post in regards to promotion of steem, steemit and steem blockchain i will give it an upvote, anything else is low quality but since quality is subjective varies from each steem ambassador, others may give it an upvote. lastly, if the post has nothing to do with promotion promo-tag criteria , and promo steem tag is used then its a tag abuse.

Let me give you an example. I made a post about hugelkulture in borneo and also said the following in the post.

perhaps in the future, there will be more homesteading community in this region get on steemit as we used homesteading to promote steemit alongside homesteading interest.

Question is, the post above a quality post, low quality or an abuse on promo steem tag? its pretty much subjective. if you ask me, in view as a steem ambassador for the usage of promo steem tag, i consider this a low quality post , a type of post i will not give an upvote, yet i dont consider this an abuse, while other thinks it is an abuse of tag.
