Second Chance Saloon - Episode 2 : Unconventionally rewarding Promo-Steem Work
This blog post is about quality promotional activity around Steemit which sadly happened to slip the net of the super fast growing #promo-steem tag. {1 minute read time}.
My suspicion is these great posts shared below could have earned more if tagged with #promo-steem.
Furthermore, this will be doubly true in a few weeks when the Steem-Ambassador Upvoting Engine is fully optimised with a fully loaded Curation Trail and Additional Delegated Steem Power.

Personally (imho) I would have liked to have seen these posts shown below in the #promo-steem tag as opposed to the low quality ones I sometimes have to filter through during curation!

The message in the community guidelines is hugely important and I agree there is a lot of poor quality posts on the #promo-steem tag, at least temporarily. It would be fantastic if we can follow these well written and clear guidelines here to improve the quality and earnings on the TAG.

Promo-steem community is a large community and do much to reward promotional posts, there are other great promotions going on in steemit but they miss out from the community upvotes because of wrong tags or using other tags other than #promo-steem.
I believe we can help these promoters by informing them of #promo-steem tag maybe in dm or comments

This is a great idea @cryptocurator. At the moment we only reward posts that tag promo-steem. We miss worthwhile content if it's not tagged with promo-steem so thanks for doing this proactive work.
It will be difficult locating all promotional posts on steemit, so the best they can do is use the tag for easy identification
100% agree - if you find someone out there not using the tag on a quality promo post do let me know for future episodes!! Nothing quite like a few SBD as a reward to encourage the use of promo-steem tag in the future.
Yes agreed. Just a little initiative in the hope of finding great promoters that we can encourage to use promo-steem tag, and at the same time re-inforce the community guidelines.
