This is a follow up report on the geographical location of the current 52 Steem-Ambassadors and a welcome to the newest Steem-Ambassadors

This is pictorially the state of play with the first 52 Steem-Ambasadors, shown both on a map and categorised into three principle regions. {For those with anonymous location – they have to belong in “The Ether”!!}
Welcome
It’s been a very busy time for @starkerz and @anarcotech, the Founders of both @Steem-Ambassador and @oracle-d. You will have seen they were integral to the successful London Cryptocurrency Show in April and are working hard on projects which bring new investment into the Steem Blockchain through @oracle-d.
They now have some support with the application process and so even with this busy period we have 22 new Ambassadors since my last publication on this topic.

The Future Steem-Ambassadors – Let’s find the next batch!!
Whenever I have time I speak on discord to potential Steem-Ambassadors in new geographical territories as we work towards a wider global distribution of Ambassadors.
I think we are close to seeing great applications from Spain and India, which will be great news, as these are both hugely important territories and very high calibre candidates.
I have some “irons in the fire”, so to speak, with my discussions with interested parties in Australia, Greece and Thailand. So “Watch this space?!”.....
I remember that the presentation from @starkerz at Steemfest² included a chart that displayed all the names of the current Steem Ambassadors. He commented the chart as follows:
And then all those people sitting in the audience started to take pictures of the screen. That's been such a cool moment.
Now it's amazing to see that this map keeps growing and growing... Some day the names won't fit on one single screen anymore...:-)

Thanks for the reminder @surfermarly - I have the screenshot of @starkerz slide at Steemfest 2 in Nov 17 - I can see many names I recognise and a few I should go and look up!

Great idea. I´m German living in Thailand. Last month I was in Germany and asked friends about Steemit. The answer was: Steemit ?????. It´s the same here in Thailand. The Thai´s and also the foreigners mostly don´t know about Steemit. What can we do to make this great platform more popular? Resteemed
Raising general awareness and curiosity is the first step! So thanks for making the first steps. A few tips for you, you might follow: promo-thai with @thaiteam @tootka and @ricko66 : you may come across a community hoping to spread Steemit in Thailand.
You might follow @steem-ambassador @promo-steem - I support these projects with delegation and follow the founders @anarcotech and @starkerz.

Steemit is still just in it's starting shoes after all. I was one of the users that joined close to the one million mark. Some people on youtube have twenty times that amount as their subscribers.
Steemit still has a long way to go and it is great to be present now when the best is yet to come.
I never knew steem ambassador exist in this platform before, nice to know about this and what does it cost to be come a steem ambassador @cryptocurator
It doesn't cost a single cent......but comes with responsibilities and some time commitment. I'm more than happy to answer any more questions about the project if you have any?

Quite interesting to see how Europe and America aren't as represented here. I wonder why that is.
