SMOKING KILLS - The story of my custom tobacco box

THE PROBLEM

As an authentic hipster that I was 2 years ago, I enjoyed puffing a pipe every now and then, but one thing that I hated back then was the anti-smoking campaigns, regulated by EU, that use cancer-related pictures on the cigarette boxes and tobacco packs that use some horrible imagery. <- only click that link if you want to see gory stuff

And to be fair I do think that every smoker knows it is not a healthy habit but we chose to smoke for a reason. For me it was depression, puffing on my pipe helped me relax a bit and forget about my problems.

MY SOLUTION

Organize a photo shoot and design a new pack myself.
I wanted something that still reminds me daily that I should eventually quit smoking but looked artsy and minimalistic.

My model and friend had this idea to do skull-face portraits for a while now, so I decided to combine those 2 into one. She asked one of her friends to do the face painting since I am not as great with a brush as I am with photoshop and we had quite a great session that day. More photos from that day coming soon.

And this is the short story of how I created my custom tobacco box for my pipe. That eventually turned in a limited edition set of stickers that most of my friends have on their laptops.
