From school days many students form a bad habit of expecting to be fed information.
Trust specific sources and they will educate you...

The challenge is to navigate through worldwide mass deception:
corporate sponsored infotainment, mass-marketing, opinion manipulation, propaganda, covert psyops, fake news, scripted & staged events, and other deviously manipulative tools to control the populous.
The Silent War
A major challenge is weeding through the massive information available (more like forced fed to the public), so a few collaborative resources would be helpful.
Other individuals and group efforts, who also know about the mass deception, psyops, propaganda, and the manipulative nature of institutional governance, are researching and/or investigating the facts.
Their genuine efforts to reveal the facts can assist us all in our search for the truth and increased awareness; and vice-versa our genuine efforts can assist them.
In this way, worldwide awareness is amplified.
Those who intentionally question everything (including their beliefs) and are seeking the truth will find it.
This is very much a active, focused intention.
Those who sit back waiting to be given the truth will be given some facts and be poisoned with deception.
Those who are poisoned with deception and false beliefs will be unaware of their activities poisoning others.
Career educators must face this too, and it is my wish many teachers will wake up to this mass deception before they retire.
The young and innocent minds in the care of teachers should be nurtured to increase their skills to observe, discern, and educate themselves.
Do you have a list of researchers, and independent investigative journalists, who are aware of the mass deception and provide links to the original sources for your follow-up research and search for truth?

I search, I research, and I search some more...
Yeah, that about sums up what I do on the internet, with the exception of writing and posting.
Offline my private thoughts and activities entertain me, as I do not watch TV or read newspapers/magazines.
I was going to share my short list with researchers and investigators - but I think it best you seek them in your own way and enjoy the effort.
You will see a pattern of those who claim to be credible and reliable but who are really another cog in the machine regurgitating the establishments' BS.

Critical thinking should be taught as young as possible. Kids today seem to 'do as they're told', but that is a dangerous mentality to course the path of life with. Ask questions - that is the most important.
Rhetoric is baseless without ground beneath it. Law is not justified by morality, nor do the two reflect any similarity. We must follow the laws to remain out of the cage, but at what point do we relinquish our marality?

Yes, critical thinking and mass awareness is something that was intentionally removed from the collective consciousness. The indoctrination centers (licensed & approved education centers) and the mass deception transmitters (corporate mass media) have deceived the worldwide populous.

Indeed, mass BS in government, school, tv, news, and all around.
This is so true. Politics became more all about popularity than governance, investments are full of scammers and speculators, the news agencies are payrolled by those who can afford, schools are educating our kids based on what is popular and acceptable. We need to all start being critical of what we see and read specially in the more popular media.
