To localized and decentralized sounds a good idea, that guys you just interviewed is not a normal guy, he knows a lot though. Corporations are the one that put millions of American people out of their houses and became homeless and hopeless. The government bailed out lots of Company before like: Lehman Brothers, Jp morgan, and other companies, that created a staggering 20 trillion in debt and China took advantage to our debt and now they are positioning themselves to become a global power. But my question would be, If you became a custodian sir @adamkokesh how do you deal with foreign countries economically and politically? if the united states will become a Libertarian Nation?

I read an article in a Portland newspaper of a local inside the city being arrested for collecting rainwater in barrels in his back yard. Now that is ridiculous. On the other hand, another man named Gary Harrington constructed dams across channels of public water running across his property that collected 40 acre feet of water in Eagle Point, OR. He was also arrested for not obtaining water rights permits. That is the kind of thing that would affect people on the other side of the county/city/state/nation line. It would be harder to stop people from damming water and keeping it away from other people in a decentralized society. The U.S. has already been doing this exact thing to Mexico for decades. I would hate to see that kind of abuse pour to the local level.

This guy was a good one to interview, a conscious minded free-thinker that is anything but a yes man. He offered some great counterpoints and @adamkokesh was right there for the snap-back with no delay or fillers. Classic.

Alex has a good point, he doesn't want Californian to be separated cos the inland people will starve and what is the use of having more senators in Washington, It just for political gain and increased spending on the tax payers money. I don't think every decision will be localized when California split from the US. Politicians will use the same tactics

Your thinking is faithful and really its apreciate able.
I will try my best to promote it.
Keep it up.

To the question in your title, my Magic 8-Ball says:

My reply is no

Your post must be of course important to others,

I think localization and decentralization are not the only answer.

That long pause in the end was his struggling with his core values. As always good job with a non aggressive conversation about some deep subjects that this person feels strongly about. I bet you that after this he was thinking long and hard about those silly non aggressive libertarians.

Localization is to localize an activity or collect an activity in a place where there is often a violation of social norms that are held by the community
And
Decentralization is the handover of Government Affairs by the Central Government to an autonomous region based on the Autonomy Principle.

He has good points, he does not want California to be separated because the inland people will starve, for many senators to choose if to make their citizens poor ,,,

should the autonomy of rural people should be prioritized, not abandon

I think they are true reason but not main reason.
