I'm going to try to challenge myself, and this is the very first one. I am going to try to write 100 Poems in 30 days (essentially, I'm trying to pay for a Birthday Gift for my wife and this is how I want to pay for it). Anyway 100 Poems in 30 Days... should be something to see. I just hope I can come through with good poetry that people enjoy.

A Deep Genesis

Let there be Light,
was all that God had to say...
his Divine Will survived the void
and pulled existence for the black and gray,
a triumph that He will never revel in
as He works through Prayers.

Sinless and dauntless He shall Be,
a shining Beacon of Love does show...
a star-struck cosmos from his Breath,
a Scientist after my own heart knows,
the beat to match the pulse of All
as Time goes by and Life does grow.

Beginnings and endings,
the Alpha and the Omega all in One...
He creates the skies and all beneath,
with His bare hands he molded the Sun
and all the animals and people and plants,
each every being is what He deems they become.

There is the start of the story of the Earth,
the place where we as Men now argue and fight...
what does he actually think of us now?
I'm just glad he's asleep and out of sight,
lest he may rescind his Will of Life for all
to let the darkness in and cover the Light.
