we know it isn't
it isn't true
a back slide into
the past

to sit all day
and move around
all night
in deep emotional stress

a spoken thought
but to the two
they knew in their minds
it was a fake.

to make up the final
truth of the assistance
anything else
left alone

to be good and bad
poor and prosperous
to feel the difference
a home changed

because this is now
the way we must live
this became our home
a house on the edge
of the earth

the marshaled force
dirty work yet
efficiency
and perfection.
