Personal Choice!

He was dining on the chicken tandoori
She objected him with tears of fury
“Non-vegetarian meals, you should never eat.”
“But it’s my personal choice, you should heed!”.

Thus began an altercation along with arguments.
He said it’s his freedom to his own judgments.
“Don’t teach me what to and what not to eat.
It’s my personal choice, whether it’s a plant or a meat!”

“Yes, you’re free to exercise your free will, but…”, asserted she.
“personal freedom doesn’t imply encroaching lives of wee”.
Are we free to intrude upon right to life of other sentient beings?
Respecting others’ rights when choosing ours is what freedom really means.
