Fathers are amazing
But a son should
Always honour his parent
They are the ones responsible
For his procreation, existence
Upbringing and survival.
Today a son remembers that
Fathers are amazing
I know mine... was and is
They are the shield that
Guards the realm of the home
They shed their blood
To heal the home
They cripple their feet
To enable the legs of the home
They shed tears toiling the soil
So that laughter fills the home
They starve their stomach
To feed the bellies in the home
They stay cold and naked
Just to clothe and warm the home
They are amazing.
There are many fathers
Only few are special
To be called a Dad
To that god who is; now and always
We adore all your selfless deeds
To that hero who was and is not
We immortalize your legacy
