she reaches (original poetry)

Here's a piece of brevity based off a photo provided for a contest I entered a few years ago. What does the photo say to you?

     she reaches

she reaches
to define perfection
in their eyes
self sacrifice
spent living life
in third person
inside panes
trying to be
what they want to see
a human held captive
in her own zoo
and all she wants
is to be free

It says her outer shell will not last forever
and she ought to stand up and do something for herself
It's a fine image with a strong message for anyone. Life slips away and if we don't have physical and mental health, we will have nothing in the end.
