Hello steemers! You guys having a great day or what? If not, maybe you need to read some nice soothing poetry to take your mind off of things, and I just happen to have some 😃. Have you ever been so in love that even a blink feels too long to be apart? This poem portrays a deep emotional connection and the desire to be close to your significant other.

picking flowers
when lids lean in
to share
their deepest thoughts
in those seconds
between lattice lashes
love intertwines
mind with heart
and beauty grows
like time lapse roses
interwoven rows of us
our lives
tightly tangled vines
begin to bud
until blossoming eyes open
a blink
feels like hours
and i miss you
so much
when i am out

Agh! Finally, after rereading 12 chapters, I found the phrase I wanted to show you, haha. I'm not a fan of poetry, but I liked this one. It reminded me of the phrase I read in a manhwa (south korean comic) some time ago:
"At the moment when we were cloest to each other, the distance between us was only 0.01cm... 57 hours later, I fall in love with this woman."
great line! hope the previous 12 chapters were as good 😁. i can see how the poem can remind you of this. it gives off the same type of deep in love feeling.
