THE NICEST SOUND (An Original Poem)

Have you heard the sound of the sunset?
Imagine 1000-African chaos drummers
accompanying a herd of wild elephants
running through the jungle...

Have you heard stars talk?
Imagine 100-night black crows landing
onto a field of snow-white lilies
from above the skies...

Have you heard the smell of fire by the sea?
Imagine 10-old Indians beating their drums
acoustically to the wind in a range of
mountains and canyons...

I know you heard the sound
of a stream by the waterfall;
you heard the rain
tap on your window.

Hear the whizz
of a breeze by the ocean;
Hear a tiger crawl
gently on the snow.

But slow down here and stop;
open your ears widely
listen to a sweeter
and a calmer sound.

Yes, it is the 1 and only
the sound of your voice, my love!
