The Goddess (Original Poetry)
The Goddess spoke to me once
in all kindness and passion
from across the ocean it seemed
and through the clouds like magic
She was gentle and fervent
had an energy I've never known
felt connected immediately
even seen love I've never been shown
slowly, i became an object
more than just affection
it seemed i was hers
she wanted attention with obsession
which i really didn't mind
until the anger arose
pushed me and pulled me
through poetry and prose
so my worship ceased
i can get arguments on earth
human nature, I despise it
jealousy has no merit or worth
so here I stand on the shore
and hear her voice evermore
ringing in my ears loudly and missed
singing for the day and the night we kiss
