"Eternity Entwined" (poem) ... Happy Valentine's Day
Another Valentine's Day is upon us and millions of people will go into stores across the county to buy flowers, chocolates and bottles of wine. These are the rituals of romance.
These rituals are important as they seek to re-imbue a romantic relationship with a kind of magic that is often difficult to sustain throughout the year. But as cherished as these rituals are, they are nothing in the absence of words. And yet, they are often the things most over-looked. Some words don't mean much, others quite a lot. You'll know you've found the right ones, when you find them hard to say.
If it costs you nothing to say it, it will them nothing to hear it.

I really liked this. Nowadays, a lot of people to tend to give up quickly, and thus never find a meaningful love. When you fight for something that you risk to lose, that's when it becomes special; it becomes something you are not willing to lose.

If I was getting more than 4 hours sleep per night, I'd throw down. You'd better hope I never learn to live on 3! :)
I wouldn't necessarily attribute to young love. As in, sure, young love is like that. However, a lot of people keep that attitude towards love and never grow up and accept reality, not realising that there is an actual difference.
I'd say I'm too active on Discord; I need to pace myself. However, I did get a great jump-start, especially with a lot of SBD/Steem from contests. I already have 32 Steem Power on my own just in 3 weeks! Now that my second semester has started, priorities have to shift more.

And Paul, yeah, 50 SP delegation ... that would be a godsend (I'll take your word for it that that will solve the bandwidth problems). Someday, I'm going to propose an Award for the Best Mentor on Steemit (maybe a Contest) and ... I'm going to bloody well make sure you win it!
When I'm talking to my daughter about Steemit, I tell her that there are a class of guys that I call The Fixers. They help fix it when it's broken and they help fix you up with other people. (I'll probably write a post about this.)

Dear @quilfire, Isn't the
old man@old-guy-photos the absolute best? No two ways about it. He knows better than to read poetry to me, I write poetry to him. Alas, he gets to read it before I post it, nothing personal.I will tell you without a doubt, that we are only friends. I say only because that is the best way to keep a working relationship going and we intend on (maybe) doing more videos. Never mess in your own nest. Very untidy should things come apart.
Now, might I say that he is one of the nicest, kindest, sweetest men on earth and I honestly can't help giggling like a high schooler. Just watch his facial expressions. I am surprised you and the whole world think we have something going on. Somebody forgot to send me the cliff notes on that to study.
At any rate, I got a smile put on my face at your comment and might I say, what a lovely valentine that you put to paper.

Alas, you are correct about separating business from pleasure.
Still, I hope you'll forgive me (and the whole world) ... Steemit is still overly-represented by males and a bit of guy-guy teasing/trash-talking ... that's how we bond. We're all very aware about how stupid the whole thing is ... nevertheless ... it creates a pretext for conversation, which is something, perhaps sadly, that we seem to require. Look at the ridiculous lengths to which we'll go to rap about ... "salad dressing."
I'm sufficiently chastised. I will behave.
