SPIRITUAL COLLATERAL DAMAGES- An Original Poem
Back in time
Pharaoh ordered all male child to be slaugthered
As the Isrealite prosper, the slave masters suffer.
To reduce their population,
All male child became a collateral damage
But one survived
Moses escaped the massacre
While other innocent souls were casted into the Nile.
When the children of God are gathering.
The devil lurks around,
Questioned by the maker,
Why the evil one came around.
Confessing to roaming the Earth
And spying on mankind.
Job was perfect catch.
Although Holy, but his children and servants,
Became victims of spiritual test.
They all died in one day.
The Paranoid King Saul,
Homicidal for the Lord's chosen sake
Massacre the Lord's priests,
Yet another spiritual collateral Damage
For King David to reach the Throne
A place destined for the man after God's own heart.
The Great Great Grand father to our Lord Jesus Christ!
At the birthof the messiah,
The stars announced his arrival,
And Herod the King felt threatened.
Thousands of innocent babies and toddlers died for the True King sake.
That was meekly born in a manger.
Spiritual collaterals they were made,
That had died for God's chosen people.
To fulfil the purpose they were divinely created for!
