A tribute in memoriam to David Bowie R.I.P. (8 January 1947 – 10 January 2016)

The Starman has taken flight,
Broken the bonds of earth
Set sail toward Heaven’s height

Now our shining Starman has gone away
There’s a Starman waiting in the sky2

Falling now from our lonely mind’s eye

The Starman painted with his inspiration

Looks like only david bowie that i have listened to is "Heroes". Stranger things introduced it to me.
I’m sure you’ve listened to more Bowie than that. Several of his albums are available on YouTube.
Still cannot believe that he is no longer around. He has always been my favourite artist and will always be :(
He was always one of my favorites too. His is one of the voices that are in the soundtrack of my life.

He was one of the best. His Art transcended the norm and changed the way we think about music. He helped broaden our minds intellectually, musically, and artistically.

Thanks. Are there Bowie songs that fit in the would-be-soundtrack of your life? If I think of big events in my life, so much of his music – ass well a Queen’s and the Beatles’ – feature in what I would call the soundtrack of my life.
