The Legend (Original limerick)

I made this a while ago just messing around. Limericks are fun. Especially when they come from Nantucket. Alas, the poem:

There once was a man known to roam
but he called Nantucket his home
he had a certain appendage
of overwhelming percentage
of him, they wrote many a poem
