Cold cracked
Cold deception

But I love you and it’s slithering away/slowly/with that deceptive organ gone rogue/crossroads always creep up on me/like death/who has the power to hold the tide/or Pick the path:

I really love the imagery of sinew this all together and the savagery of the verbiage throughout. You really spare the reader nothing in terms of the brutality of these emotions. Love it.
