And rain
In stormy weather
On sunny days;
All the elements
Make your mood
So passionate,
So much like you.
The pond reflects
The sky’s face
The same way
Your emotions trace
The lay of land
Dark and light
The mystery
Of a foggy night.
A scent, a color
A soft sigh
As if spring rain
Were passing by,
But mostly
In the autumn hues
I lie awake
And dream of you;
Your colors fill
The darkened room
And melt away
My inner gloom.
