of my empty—
[motion]
something
stirred...
Vague reticence.
(yearning, receptivity)
"When I speak do you
feel my heat presence?"
[self-conscious]
"Do you care?
to feel my
caring?"
Budding terror.
(In my crushed tomato heart)
{Nitemare gaze}
"Somnolence will care
for you now,"
[thud.]
"As I do not."
Purgatorial
Gobstone, border guard, sentinel stiffen!
Raise pretentious columnjewel, sand rose
nettleseed grit, vulture-woman crooknose.
No how, no way. Anti-matter
Noose on neck, crook of bony
Skin-neck that precarious bobs.
Horsefly joust, metallic grimace whine.
Searchbeam insectoid,
Gorge my libacious skeeterscream
Paltry witch, dijest this insubordinance!
Redemption
Upon a chillèd atmosphere,
With unreal aromatic soothe
Which strike the tend'rst touch.
.
No kindred flair nor trick th' air
Nor intoxicating drink,
Persuade the heart to e'er forget
Its unrelenting link.
.
That link divine, O link supreme!
Thy chain of utter breadth—
Which doth subsume, receive, bestow
Us life and transmutation's depth.
