Out the Window: Haiku and Horse Photo
Horses huddle,
tails to the wind.
Birds feast.
Snowflakes dance;
the trees bow.
This is my entry for @dbooster's haiku contest.
Yes, it has too many lines. I am doing "mini renga style"... I'm hooked. I can't help it.
As for the photo, taken yesterday--our horses. Not as much wind as when I drafted the haiku, but you get the idea.

I'd have loved to take it without the fence in the way, but they move if I get near them. Friendly animals.
They are so beautiful! Oh my. I love how they huddle together with their tails to the wind. Your poem is lovely.
Horses are scary... but majestic.
