WANDERING UNKNOWN

Tale of the unknown and deep wander,
Trail of burned bridges over yonder.
Treading the uncharted distance of fate,
Worn out walking cane of hope.

Solemn footpaths shaped by grief,
Eager eyes are searching for path.
Plucking the strings of belief,
The only thing to miss is the moment.

Once upon a journey to find destiny,
X marks the spot on the map of dreams.
The mind concocts its master design,
The perfect plan, until a breeze of reality.

Sometimes a soul needs saving,
A silver rip in a hard-life continuum.
The wanderer knows best than to wish on a star.
The wanderer unknown keeps going.

    The ouroboros mindset.

    It's opposite of linear thinking and dichotomies; meaning: if any scale of measure were to continue to its logical end, opposites eventually meet.

    I'm glad you enjoyed it. I did try to make the emotive words not too heavy or light. the character is kinda conflicted, hoping for a stroke of luck but not expecting it. Thanks for your comment.
