SteemitPoetryContest #14 - VENGEANCE
Banished from peace and bliss.
Her hands blackened by torment,
Betrayed by love and fate.
Her sunken eyes like vacant windows.
Engulfed and fading to darkness,
She becomes vengeance incarnate.
Muse to the broken hearted.
Cold frozen hearts with pain,
Her fury fire keeps them warm.

I love the first and the second stanza. There was a bleak, brokenness and desperate feeling in the first two but you lost it by resolving those feelings, I feel. Nevertheless, good writing.
