Kenapa aku ini ?
Berilmu tapi tak tahu mengamalkan
Berpendirian tapi tak tahu arah tujuan
Aku hilang arah dan bimbang
Kenapa aku ini ?
Mengharap keindahan yang tak kunjung datang
Menanti dan terus menanti
Hingga waktu dan tahun datang silih berganti
Aku tetap seperti sedia kala awal aku bermula
Kenapa aku ini ?
Seharusnya aku menggenggam dunia
Sepantasnya sudah aku menggenggam dunia
Namun disinilah aku saat ini
Duduk di ruang gelap tak bertepi
Menanti dan hanya dapat menanti
Seolah semua daya upaya sirna tak berarti
Kenapa aku ini ?
