A poem for truth

This poem was written and inspired by Genesis and "the good things coming."

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Before man,
Without curse

Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep,
and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

No sickness nor sin,
The heavens before us have always been.

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

At the voice of God,
The understanding was bright.
For the light was love,
the words of a dove.

God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.

Without a shade of grey-
All thought and presence preserved it's place,
The knowledge of "one" in the beginning state.

God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was 
evening,  and there was morning—the first day.

With colorless days and blackless nights,
We begin to see light without sight,
And wonder if our fight is without question,
right..?

Life with no meaning bears a lifeless earth with no fruit.
If we each make a step in an unknown direction,
Will finds our truth.
