@Easter Poem

Easter holiday comes due,
School time break for a few,
Queue time busy, not used to.
People pushing, black Friday feeling,
Anxiety revealing, unappealing.

The glow off my sons face,
As I take him to see this place,
Makes it all worthwhile,
Especially when he cracks a smile.

Its either that or stay at home,
Cocooned up all alone,
Homework done, Quite headstrong
Fortnite play all day long

Chocolate fan I am not,
But this is no Easter boycott,

Egg heads painted,
Treasure hunts created, youngsters motivated,
And wildlife aggravated
Job done.

Thanks, you have a great unique style also. Only started writing poems few weeks ago when I joined but its just nice to be able to express how one feels and write about what you want , how you want without following any rules as such. Even better that people understand & enjoy reading my poems. Happy Easter. Look forward to checking out both yours and @monchhichi23 Future posts.
