Total Supply update: 1,185 Genesis claims brings the total supply to 1,185,001,185 Pocket tokens. Just a handful of claims per day now; maybe we'll manage to hit 1,200 by the end of Genesis.
When will Genesis end?
The last valid Steem block for Genesis claims is 15,374,840; this block is currently expected to be published on September 11 at 2 PM UTC (this is 10 AM US Eastern time). This is 9 hours from now, give or take. When this happens I will hopefully be sleeping, but after it's all over I'll give a recap of everything and we can all celebrate.
To convert this to your own time zone, just go to timeanddate.com and enter your own time zone in the box.
If you haven't yet claimed genesis yet, you still have a chance to do so until the genesis interval ends! Just follow the first link in this list and do what it says. But act fast, after Genesis is over, no more Pocket tokens will ever be created.

Most of those 300k accounts aren't users. Only 80k accounts were even eligible for pocket, and many of those are duplicate accounts owned by the same person. So I'm not sure what we can conclude from the 0.05%.
You are right, most of the eligible accounts are duplicate accounts or Bots. Steem has many bots. I have been giving away 100 Pocket tokens to anyone who comments on my post, although the response has been good I was hoping many people would claim the tokens.
A lot of people do not know about Pocket, @biophil we need to educate people about Pocket. And the people who own Pocket tokens are hodling them and waiting to sell them when there's a demand and it gets a fiat value.
Most people commenting on my post are asking if the can sell these tokens on an exchange. As of now I will give away at least 10,000 Pocket Tokens a week and probably write posts about it soon enough.
