Pitchperfect week 9: O’Carolan’s Concerto (cover)
Turlough O’Carolan was a blind Irish harpist and composer from the early 1700s, who traveled the length and breadth of Ireland writing songs as he went. His music is the bridge between the older folk melodies, and the Baroque classical music popular in Europe at the time.
(Performed on my Susato Irish tinwhistle)
