It really is a monochrome Monday here
OK I did my planned Monochrome Monday post this morning and strictly speaking looking out the windows this morning it is a mono kind of day with a good snowfall last night coating everything
I have not been for a walk outside yet and not to sure that I will, but I did get these shots from the windows.

I have seen some reports of power outages in our area, and when I saw these powerlines coated with snow this morning I guess it is no surpise, I hope those that lost power get it restored quickly

As I said looking outside it is pretty much mono withh all the snow but I did like how the color of the flag across the road was standing out.

And another shot of the powerlines to finish off with, I am so tempted, as I prepare this post at 77:30 in the morning to layer up and head out and get some Winter shots, but with the temperature at the moment being 25 Degrees, and my weak lungs, common sense says I should stay in, lets see which side wins as the day progresses and if I remember I will update this post before I share it tonight
And the update as promised I did go for a short walk later in the day, but I was sensible and was layered up and made it just a quick walk.

It's funny. Sam and I are going out earlier each day. It won't be long and we'll be waiting for it to get light again. Today is a little cooler, the low will be in the low 50s.

I would be so happy with a Low in the 50’s right now, it was 15 When I caught the train this morning shallI say a little brisk LOL
I see the days slowly gettign longer again, I am even getting off the train just before the sun is setting now, so much nice than dark when I leave home and dark when I get back Imust say
I love these, especially the one with the US flag - it looks so vivid in comparison to the muted sky and snow shades. Looks like you have a lot more snow to come too, judging from the colour of that sky!

Geesh, I do not miss this gray sky of winter. When the sun is out and shining with show it is truly beautiful, but the monochrome, not so much. 25 degrees, too cold for you @tattoodjay. Stay inside and stay warm. Quite a bit of snow right now!
We only got about 8 Inches, it did look so beautiful while fresh, I would have bene happy with 25 it was 10 this morning while I was on the platform waiting to catch the train, not my ide aof fun LOL
Beautiful untouched snow! I think we are done on this side of the Atlantic for the year... no more snow! Actually, we barely got any!
There is talk of more coming here this coming weekend but I really do not mind if winter gives up and moves off and lets spring in
Looks like you guys got some decent accumulation. Those are some nice shots and yikes, I would be worried about losing power too. Especially if the wind were to kick up!
I saw this morning some are still without power but the company hope toget it back from them today
It was a good fall I think 8Inches so not huge, butit did look so pretty I must admit
That's when I love the snow... When I don't have anywhere to be and I can just sit and home and watch it accumulate!
