Plankton Support - What is a good photography post and how to create one?

This is a quite obvious question to ask and not that difficult to answer. Still, we can see people continuously failing to produce such posts.

It is important that you take your time! You will gain followers by producing good quality content, not by increasing quantity.
Newbies are often disappointed when their posts make very little money and they try to make up for it, by producing a lot of them. This then logically affects the quality.

Title your post well.
This is the first thing that everybody sees. The title must be catchy and should stick to the point.

Use photographs of the highest possible quality.
It is a photo post after all.

It is important to write some text alongside your photograph/s.
Provide detailed descriptions of your photographs and some background story. Also provide information about your
camera and its settings. It allows people to learn much more.

Format the text.
By centering images and text, using bolds, italics, making text larger and presenting your links attractively. For a comprehensive guide of formatting in markdown check out this post by @thecryptofiend on Markdown for Beginners

Use your tags wisely.
You want people to view your posts and therefore you must ensure they are visible and in the correct categories.

Browsing the Community - @dmytrokorol

This week I decided to introduce you @dmytrokorol. Not only is he a great photographer, he is also a very nice guy. He brought @photogames to my attention and by doing so, he helped to build an awareness in the community.
@dmytrokolor (60) is from Poland and started steeming in January 2018. I will present you couple of his photographs and I strongly encourage you to check his work out for yourself.

These photographs are HIS original work and I have absolutely nothing to do with them.

Famous Photographer - William John "Bill" Cunningham Jr.

(March 13, 1929 – June 25, 2016) was an American fashion photographer for The New York Times, known for his candid and street photography. I heard of Bill Cunningham some time ago, but I always considered him to be a fashion photographer. It was not until I saw the documentary about him that I realised how big of a street photographer he was.
He first became known as a designer of women's hats before moving on to writing about fashion for Women's Wear Daily and the Chicago Tribune. He began taking candid photographs on the streets of New York City, and his work came to the attention of The New York Times with a 1978 capture of Greta Garbo in an unguarded moment. Cunningham reported for the paper from 1978 to 2016.

His personal philosophy was: "You see, if you don't take money, they can't tell you what to do, kid." He sometimes said it another way: "Money is the cheapest thing. Liberty is the most expensive." He declined all gifts from those he photographed, even offers of food and drink at gala parties. He said: "I just try to play a straight game, and in New York that's very... almost impossible.

Must-watch - Bill Cunningham New York (2010))

Biography/Documentary - 1h 24m
Initial release: March 16, 2011 / Director: Richard Press
''Bill Cunningham, one of the mainstays of the New York Times, has been a contributor to the renowned newspaper for many decades. He's also an incurable and eccentric chronicler of fashion, tirelessly snapping photos of and writing about interestingly attired celebrities and ordinary New Yorkers he spots on the street. This exhaustive profile of Cunningham and his work includes interviews with friends -- and often subjects -- Tom Wolfe, David Rockefeller and Vogue magazine's Anna Wintour.''
I watched this documentary yesterday and I simply loved it. It displays a real passion for photography.***

Photo Contest

This is my first contest on Steemit so I am going to keep it small. I need to create a COVER for this journal and I believe you could be of great help. You can take a part by submitting your entries in the comment section below. It can be a photo or an artwork and it must be an original. The rest is totally up to you. I will use the winning picture as a cover and I will reward the winner with 2 STEEM.
