For Aceh's Culture and Tradition Not Missing
Acehnese children are trained to dance traditional Acehnese dances, from the age of 4 or 5 years old children have been trained in dance, so that the customs and traditions of Aceh are not lost in time.
This traditional dance of Aceh has been done since the ancestors first, this dance is still easy to find in Aceh, in every area of this dance there.
There are 12 traditional Acehnese dances that are still played today by the younger generation, among them; Dance Bines, Saman Dance, Didong, Guel, Mesekat, Ula Ula Lembing, Tarek Pukat Aceh, Seudati Aceh, Ratoh Duek Aceh, Rampai Geleng Aceh, Rupai Lampuan Aceh, Pho.
This traditional dance of Aceh is well known by the world, some foreign citizens are even able to play this traditional Aceh dance, for example, played by citizens of United States States, Australia, Japan, China, Holland and Korea. They bring Acehnese to their country to learn special Acehnese traditional dances.
This traditional Acehnese dance is often played during commemorating the big days, on ceremonial occasions and at the time of welcoming guests.
