Dohány Street Synagogue - Budapest, Hungary
The biggest European Synagogue is in Budapest, Hungary, it is also the second largest in the world can be found in the 7th district, near Deak Square.
It was built in 1854-1859 and consists two towers at 43 meters high. It is 75 meters long and 27 wide.
In the II.WW it was the gate of the ghetto, where 70.000 people were kept.
